A mouse macro can get you a whole title from you doing NOTHING besides collecting the ale. 10,000 minutes you should have earned from being at the computer, not AFK. I don't see how that's comparable to having to go out and clear a path and get straight to an area you missed mapping, which could take a while if you don't know the topography.

Decompiling the program, the entire "bot" is scripted using Autohotkey and consists of a single line of code less than 20 characters long. It does exactly what has been stated before - double clicks your mouse every 180 seconds.

I'd like to get input from gaile on this, if it is similar to texmod. Seeing how most of the work comes from getting the booze for the title, if this little helper was told to be too below the radar to care by Anet, i'd liek to know.

I think you and I know there a big difference between an autoscript that double clicks every 3 mintues, and one htat autozones, kills mobs, and loots, and repeats.

it's amazing to see ig stuff for the Sweet title, Sugar Rush & Pumpkin Ecstasy icons but nothing for the Drunkard effect.
I'd prolly go for a "1 minute beeping tool" in that case, but a clicking one would get you a ban, even with a random value in the process.

/wish for a point system change about all this

Doesn't make it easier, just less infuriating. It lessens the time it takes to compare maps and that's about it. You still have to go into every damn area, map every edge, kill all the monsters in your way, etc. And it still takes time.

This is the only title Texmod affects. Hell, it's the only thing in GW that people can get up in arms about with Texmod - and it's a very insignificant change.

I will just stick to my method of getting 3 drunkard minutes in under 10 seconds. Faster than sitting there waiting out 10,000 minutes and easily repeatable.

I still believe that a mouse macro "should" not be a bannable offense. They decided to make you afk 10,000 minutes to gain the title. So what if people have lives and make a program to double click for you every 1/3 minutes? They got the alcohol and don't feel like clicking it all day long for weeks.

But what "should" not be bannable is not always how a.net does it. So it wouldn't surprise me if they've already falsely banned plenty of drunkard title seekers for standing still and searching the web, then pulling up the gws screen every 3 minutes and double clicking.

Not as many as those that care about the KoaBD title track.

I really hope your pun was accidental. @_@
I mean if there was a program to play a sound every two minutes in order to inform me that I should click on the alcohol. I still do all the work, but I don't have to look at the clock all the time.

OMG, I accidentally made a pun in my previous post, hehe

There are quite a few programs out there that do this exact thing. Do a search on "clock timer download" and you'll find some hits.

IMHO - this is a really great way to acquire drunkard minutes. Here's what I did to max the title:

(1). Open your title window so you can see drunkard minutes; and also open your inventory so you can later click on drinks.
(2). Set up timer to beep every 3 minutes.
(3). Wait for the first beep.
(4). After 3-4 seconds, click drink(s) to get fully drunk (1 spiked eggnog or aged dwarven ale is best for this).
(5). Now either play GW or do some other computer-related task for 3 minutes.
(6). When you hear the next beep; (if necessary switch back to GW and) watch for your drunkard minutes to increment.**
(7). Now click 3 minutes-worth of drinks - i.e. to get fully drunk again (1 firewater is the best way, otherwise use 3 1-minute drinks).
(8). /RinseRepeat steps 5 thru 7 (my goal was to get at least 2 hours of drunkard minutes in each sitting).

** If you don't switch back soon enough, your minutes will have already incremented. If that happens - wait a few more seconds, and if you still don't see your minutes increment then do step 7.

The best thing about this approach is you are doing all the work (*** NO BOT IS INVOLVED ***); all the timer does is provide you with an audio cue when to click the next set of drink(s).

Further, you are actually spending 'real-time' minutes drunk, and not gaining 'cheap minutes' by doing the zone-warp trick.

It definitely is a grindfest to max this title - but with a little (ok a LOT) of perseverance and patience (and gold!) - this is the result .

you can use a sound program, loop your one minute interval and have it play in the background, on a tape recorder or even on an old VHS if you still have one lying around...no more winding up that egg timer

Write the program yourself java is a simple enough language to learn and it is a rather simple program. Or hell even BASIC if you need too.

If you've already got the alchy, and you simply don't want to press the buttons...I find this to be a nice alternative.

Especially for those with carpal tunnel, and other gamer diseases.

Thank you thank you thank you. I made a thread asking for where I could find a program and didn't get any easy answers, but "clock timer download" found me exactly what I need.

i see why its risky because afterall you should just be playing. i find it less boring if you dont drink all your alchol at once and work on it overtime. The whole text mod thing is totally different. Its nothing to do with being lazy and waiting along time
